Technique Boutique: Story Mapping
An IIBA Chapters Virtual Event
Presented by IIBA Halifax, Ottawa-Outaouais, and Palmetto Chapters
Tuesday, April 12, 2022
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM EDT (GMT - 4 hours)
Get ready for the next session of our Lunch and Learn series! Here’s an opportunity to take a break from your workday to enhance your BA skillset and share your knowledge with your fellow BAs. In our second Technique Boutique session of 2022 (hosted with our sister chapters, IIBA Ottawa-Outaouais and IIBA Halifax), we will explore Story Mapping: a technique commonly used in Agile approaches.
Does wading through what seems to be an endless backlog frustrate you? Could you use some help organizing your flat backlog so you can create releasable slices of functionality? This session will show how to use Story Mapping to simplify release planning and ensure you deliver a highly valued product at the end of each sprint.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn how story mapping facilitates an understanding of the product functions and use
- Learn how story mapping can help you prioritize the backlog
- Learn how to improve your use of this technique
