Get ready for the next session of our Lunch and Learn series! Here’s an opportunity to take a break from your workday to enhance your BA skillset and share your knowledge with your fellow BAs. In our fourth and final Technique Boutique session of 2022, hosted by the IIBA Ottawa-Outaouais, Palmetto, and Halifax Chapters, we will explore Benefits Mapping.

Up to two-thirds of organizations struggle with turning their strategies into results, missing out on a potential performance increase of 60 to 100%. Yet without successful execution, the strategy is pointless. Indeed, strategy = execution.

Benefits mapping is a great technique to help your organization and stakeholders connect the dots between strategy and execution. As a BA, you are perfectly positioned to guide this process and leverage benefits mapping for a successful outcome.

In this session, you will learn:

  • what benefits mapping is;
  • how benefits mapping helps you create a one-page visual of what your project is about;
  • about different types of benefits maps;
  • that the map is just the starting point … benefits realization is really what it’s about!
