Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK® Guide)
The Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK® Guide) is the collection of specified knowledge areas within the Business Analysis profession and strives to reflect industry accepted best practices. The BABOK® Guide describes Business Analysis areas of knowledge, their associated activities and the tasks and skills necessary to be effective in their execution.  The BABOK® Guide expands the scope of business analysis, providing essential direction and support for practitioners in areas such as agile, business intelligence, information technology, business architecture, and business process management.
The ECBA®, CCBA® and CBAP® certification levels support a career path for the ever evolving and growing business analysis profession.  These levels are competency-based and aligned with the BABOK® Guide v3 developed with the contribution of 150 writers and researchers from 20 countries.  The IIBA® Palmetto Chapter is very fortunate to have one of those writers as a Chapter Member and a coordinator of our Study Group efforts.
CBAP® / CCBA® / ECBA® / BABOK® Study Groups
To support our business analysis community in South Carolina, the IIBA® Palmetto Chapter is now offering a study group designed for those wanting to improve their business analysis skills or to better prepare for the CBAP® / CCBA® / ECBA® certification process.  The study group will be open to Chapter members and nonmembers, and conducted as virtual sessions.  See here for details.
