2023 CALL FOR NOMINATIONS:
IIBA Palmetto Chapter Board of Director Elections

It's time for the IIBA® Palmetto Chapter 2023 Board Elections! This is your opportunity to nominate yourself or another candidate for the IIBA Palmetto Chapter Board of Directors to manage the day-to-day business and carry out the purpose and objectives of the Chapter.

Nominate yourself, or another Chapter member, for the following elected positions:

  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Vice President of Technology
  • Vice President of Sponsorship
  • Vice President of Membership
  • Vice President of Marketing and Communications

Before you begin, please read this document to understand the duties and responsibilities of our volunteer board member positions. Per the Chapter bylaws, nominees must be active IIBA members who have selected IIBA Palmetto as their preferred chapter.

You will need the following information to fill out the nomination form:

  • Name
  • Employer
  • Job Title
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • Resume -OR- LinkedIn profile link
  • A statement describing why the nominee is qualified to serve on the Board of Directors
  • Photo

The Elections Committee will verify the eligibility, willingness to serve, and qualifications of each nominee. Once the nomination process is complete, chapter members in good standing will be asked to vote during our 2023 Annual General Meeting to be held Wednesday, June 28th. Ballots will then be tabulated by the Elections Committee during the meeting and announced at the end. The newly elected officers will also be announced via email before assuming office on Saturday, July 1st.

We hope you will consider nominating yourself or someone else to serve on the IIBA Palmetto Chapter Board of Directors. The Chapter is successful because of the knowledge and experience of our members and their willingness to help. We look forward to an outstanding slate of nominees willing to serve the business analysis community of South Carolina.

Many IIBA certifications require proof of continued professional growth by earning Continuing Development Units (CDUs) every one to three years, depending on the certification.Board of Director positions earn CDUs, and the number earned depends on the amount of engagement and length of time in the role.
