Palmetto Chapter Volunteer Opportunities!

Did you know volunteering with our chapter qualifies for CDUs?

IIBA® certified professionals are required to continue their professional growth by earning 30 to 60 Continuing Development Units (CDUs) every one to three years, depending on their certification type.

You can earn CDUs by serving in any volunteer capacity. The number of CDUs earned depends on the length of time and type of activity. Please reference the recertification section of the IIBA website for more details (https://www.iiba.org/business-analysis-certifications/recertification/).

Below are some ways you can volunteer with our chapter. If you do not see a role matching your unique talents, please let us know how you want to make a difference. Express your interest by sending a note to: president@palmetto.iiba.org

Elections:  Elections are the formal process IIBA Chapters use to determine who manages and governs the Chapter in the form of the Board of Directors.  As a membership organization, it is necessary for Chapters to conduct elections for the positions of its Board of Directors to give its members a voice in the programs and future strategic direction of the Chapter.  The best practice is to have elections run under the direction of an Elections Committee.

Volunteers:  The Volunteer Committee is established to assure expectations are set for every volunteer that is mutually beneficial to both the volunteer and the Chapter.
