CALL FOR NOMINATIONS:  IIBA PALMETTO CHAPTER BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTIONS

It's time for the IIBA® Palmetto Chapter 2022 Board Elections!  This is your opportunity to nominate yourself or another candidate for the IIBA® Palmetto Chapter Board of Directors to manage the day-to-day business and carry out the purpose and objectives of the Chapter.

Nominate yourself, or another Chapter member, for the following two-year term, elected positions:

• President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Vice President of Professional Development
• Vice President of Technology
• Vice President of Sponsorship
• Vice President of Marketing and Communications

Submit a nomination through this online form no later than 4:00 p.m. EST on June 27, 2022.

Before you begin, read this document to understand the duties and responsibilities for service as a volunteer board member specific to the above listed open board positions.  Per IIBA® Palmetto Chapter Bylaws, nominees must be an active IIBA Member and have selected the Palmetto Chapter as your preferred chapter.
You will need the following information to fill out the nomination form:

• Name
• Employer
• Title
• Phone Number
• Email Address
• Resume or LinkedIn Profile
• The nominee's statement describing why the nominee is qualified to serve on the Board of Directors
• Photo

The Elections Committee will verify eligibility, willingness to serve, and qualifications for each nominee.  Once the nomination process is complete, Palmetto Chapter Members in good standing will be asked to vote during our 2022 Annual General Meeting to be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022.  Ballots will then be tabulated by the Elections Committee and announced at the end of the 2022 Annual General Meeting, as well as by email prior to July 1, 2022 when they take office.

We hope you will consider nominating yourself or someone else to serve on the IIBA® Palmetto Chapter Board of Directors.  The Chapter is successful because of the knowledge and experience of our members and their willingness to help. Did you know volunteering for our Chapter qualifies for CDUs toward recertification?  (IIBA® certified professionals are required to continue their professional growth through earning 60 Continuing Development Units (CDUs) every three years following original certification.) 

• Board of Director positions for the Chapter earn CDUs for the volunteer. The number of CDUs depends on the amount of engagement and length of time in the role.  Basically, it is 1 CDU for each hour of work in the role, with a bonus 10 CDUs for each six months in the role.
